Message
From PENSA president at the Headquarters
It is very great
pleasure to introduce the Parenteral and Enteral
Nutrition Society of Asia (PENSA) to you all.
Although it is
only 6 years old, the society initially was
founded by a group of physicians from Japan,
China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Pakistan
and Thailand.
It was founded
on May 6, 1995 in Thailand.
It also was supported by pharmacists, nurses,
and dietitians who have been working in the
field of nutritional support.
Everyone who is working or interesting in nutritional
support in hospitalized patients enable to enroll
the society as the membership, not only from
Asean countries but also from other countries
around the world.
The scientific congress will be held every year
and hosted by different countries in Asia. The
10th PENSA Congress will be held in Pattaya,
Thailand during the October 27-29, 2004. I am
very delighted to invite everyone to join this
exciting and informative meeting and have a
good time in Thailand.
