PENSA Newsletter May-August 2001, Vol.2 No.2 Message From Editor Dear PENSA members: It is now nearly half year of the 1st year of this millenium. Many of our countries members may have hard time during the past months. However, we wish that the rest of the year will be better and better for all of you. We also wish to meet you all at the 7th PENSA Congress in Bali in August 2001. The final program and registration form are enclosed with this newsletter. There still enough time for those who have not registered yet to change their mind and join us there. In this newsletter, we have news from Professor Chomchark Chuntrasakul, the former president of PENSA, and now the director of PENSA Center in Bangkok. He wrote a letter telling us about his visit to Korean PEN Society. We also want to show our appreciation to the Malaysian PEN Society for sending us parts of the registration fees from the 5th PENSA Congress in Kuala Lumpur in 1999. Their contribution will help a lot in maintaining PENSA's activity. Apart from the news about PENSA activity, in this newsletter we also have articles about "Nutritional Support in the 21st Century" from Professor W.D. Wilmore, "Effects of parentally infused fish oil on lipid metabolism in total parenteral nutrition" by Dr. Wei Jao Chen, and "Home artificial nutrition in advanced digestive tract cancer patients" by Dr. R. Fukushima. These articles derived form the program and abstract of the 6th Congress of PENSA in Taipei in 2000. There are still many more interesting topics in the coming 7th Congress. Thus it is worth going to join the meeting and share our knowledge and experience there.
