PENSA Newsletter Septement-December 2005, Vol.6 No.3 Message From Editor Dear PENSA members: We apologize for the delay in issuing this newsletter. The 11th PENSA Congress in Seoul, Korea had past for few months. We would like to thank and congratulate Professor Meung Duke Lee and his team for the success of the Congress. All the attendants had learned a lot from the congress as well as enjoyed the glamorous social events. The PENSA International Committee met in Seoul during the Congress period and decided that from now on, we would organize the Congress every alternated year instead of yearly. The venue of the next Congress was also decided. It will be organized by Professor Jonathan M. Asprer and his team in Philippines in 2007. Academic part in this newsletter comes from the 11th Congress of PENSA in Seoul, Korea. The first paper is optimal safe nutrition in intensive care by Richard D Griffiths. The second paper is home enteral nutrition for post-gastrectomy patients ; seamless nutrition support from hospital care to home care by Michio Maruyama and the last paper is gender difference of mortality and cytokine changes in cirrhotic and septic rats after immunonutrition by Keng-Hao Liu.
