PENSA Newsletter September-December 2006, Vol.7 No.3 Message From Editor Dear PENSA members: Happy New Year to you all! Hope the coming year is a good year for all our country members. The PENSA International Board has just met in Bangkok, Thailand in October 24th, 2006. The detailed of the meeting outcome will be presented in the next newsletter. After the meeting, our board committee enjoyed their dinner at the Siam Niramit Show. The scientific issues in this newsletter are: "Nutritional support in acute and chronic pancreatitis" by Professor Rakesh K. Tandon from India, "Nutrition support in the critically ill : a prospective survey in a Korean intensive care unit" by Sun-Jung Kim et al, and "Education of nurses in nutrition support" by Satiapoorany K. Subramaniam from Malaysia. These 3 topics were presented in the 11th PENSA Congress in Seoul, Korea. Please do not forget that the 12th PENSA Congress will be held in Manila, Philippines next year. Professor Jonathan M. Asprer, the Congress president ask us to inform you about the meeting in October 17th -20th 2007. Please made a note on your calendar and prepare for your abstract.
